Part 2, Prolonging the life of temperature/humidity sensors

As we've mentioned before, the little white box sensors from Oregon Scientific, Ventus, Bresser, TFA and GARNI are 'splash proof' and poor placement can reduce their life expectancy.

We are pleased to announce that TFA have produced a universal sensor shelter that we will be stocking from April which should dramatically increase the lifespan of your sensor and give you more options for placement.

The sensor case is fully ventilated, whilst still offering shelter from the rain and being white also helps reduce solar heating. The shelter also includes a small stand an adhesive attachment pad and sensor hole for cabled sensors.

Although produced by TFA, it's suitable for any brand of sensor measuring a maximum of 60mm x 160mm in size.
