At first I wasn't sure about the accuracy of the WS68, but after a couple of weeks I can see that it is more accurate or sensitive than my Davis anomometer. It works very well and I use it for readings more than my Davis. All in all I am pleased with it.
I attached the WS68 to a 50mm pole at 3.5mtrs high, and the readings are fairly accurate compared to my Davis station, and it will suffice for my amature needs. Connectivity is pretty good to my Ecowitt console.
i replaced a 5-in-1 weather station that was accurate enough but had RF reliability issues - it would drop TX for no obvious reason. the ecowitt products are superb - accurate AND reliable. in addition, the tech support is awesome as well! Have used this as part of my weather station and sensor setup.
