An original Oregon Scientific power adapter as supplied with a number of projection clocks, digital clocks and weather stations that use a right angled power adapter as detailed below.

Compatibility

This power adapter can be used with a number of Oregon Scientific products that have a 3.6v DC power socket on them. This includes:

    Expensive for an adapter but does the job

    Bought this to provide power to my projector clock. The illumination on the clock does not work without a live power feed.
    I would give this item five stars but I have reduced it to three as the adapter costs more than the clock.

    Unfortunately Oregon Scientific ceased trading in 2022/23 so could no longer provide replacement parts. We had to source these direct from the factory at a significantly higher price than we normally would be able to purchase them for. As Oregon was the only manufacturer using this right angled plug at this size and voltage we decided to give customers an option to buy this rather than say it could not be sourced. Some of the products that use this were also significantly more expensive than the adapter and for those owners it would be a more cost effective replacement.

    Just what I'd been looking for

    So pleased to finally find this adaptor - been looking for it for months as the Oregon clock only seems to be available with battery power. The problem was finding and adaptor with connector of the right size.
