The Ecowitt WN5 digital leaf wetness sensor provides accurate and instant leaf moisture information both on the LCD display and via an Ecowitt gateway or console.

Choice of two frequencies, 868MHz UK / European frequency and 433MHz for use with WS6006 4G station or Oceania region, please ensure you select the correct frequency for your existing equipment.

When paired with a GW1000/GW1100 WiFi Gateway:

  • View leaf wetness reading on the Live Data page of the WS View app (requires the gateway and your phone is using the same WiFi network)
  • Up to 8 channels supported
  • Channel names can be edited on the app.
  • Battery level information displayed on the WS View App.

When paired with a Weather Station Console (HP2551/HP3500/HP3501):

  • View leaf wetness data in real-time on the Display
  • Up to 8 channels supported
  • Channel names can be edited on the 8 console(for HP2551 only)
