Ecowitt WittField Combo/Suite 4G Mobile Solar Weather Station

The Ecowitt WittField Combo and WittField Suite are solar powered 4G weather stations designed to monitor micro-climate change where power is unavailable. This weather station can broadcast weather data to online weather services or user’s own weather server through selected 4G and 2G mobile data networks. Or if near enough to a suitable location WiFi.

The WittField Combo weather station is supplied with a 7-in-1 sensor array to measure outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, solar and UV radiation.

The WittField Suite weather station is supplied with 3 separate sensors to measure outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, solar and UV radiation. 

The transmission distance between the sensors is 100 meters with the standard base station and 300 meters with the 'Plus' external RF antenna product.

The product supports both Wi-Fi and 4G connections for receiving and processing data from the included and optional additional sensors. When used is a remote location the product uses 4G for data transmission due to the lack of Wi-Fi coverage. In locations where WiFi is available the WittField prioritises Wi-Fi for data transmission. If WiFi disconnects, it switches to 4G to maintain continuous data flow.

Weather Data can be permanently stored in the included 8GB micro SD card. The system has a low power maintain mode such that user will never experience data loss.

Please ensure that any additional sensors added are 868MHz frequency.

Requirements for installation:

• Mobile signal coverage 4G or 2G (3G is no longer available in some areas) 
• A compatible 4G network.
• An appropriate pole for the sensor array.
• An ongoing 4G data subscription is required after the initial free 90 days included with the SIM.
• If you are using the WittField product on WiFi only then no 4G data the subscription is not required which is £20 a year in the UK. The SIM card can be changed for another providers should you wish.

Product Warranty

2 year warranty from date of purchase from May 2025, 1 year on purchases before this date - return to supplier. Batteries are excluded from warranties as they are classed as a consumable item.
