The WN32A (WH32) sensor is used as your primary source of outdoor temperature & humidity readings which will upload to online services including WeatherUnderground along with the Ecowitt network.
If used with a multi-sensor array, this sensor will override the built in temperature & humidity readings of these (5-in-1, 7-in-1, WS80, WS90, WittBoy models etc). Ideal if you wish to separate your temperature and humidity readings from the main array, but not if you wish to have an additional set of readings; use the WN31 instead.
Before purchase, please be aware of the following:
- Only one WN32A (WH32) sensor or multi-sensor array can be used with the gateway or console as your primary device for reporting temperature & humidity to online services
- If a WN32 sensor is used alongside a multi-sensors array then only the WN32 readings will be displayed
- You cannot use this as an additional sensor, please use the WN31 multichannel sensor
- You may need to enable the T&H sensor option on your console / gateway before readings are visible

Connected with no problems. Accurate but was used with the associated shelter to avoid solar heating.
It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last.
Bought this unit recently as a backup to my existing one. This has been running for a year without issue. It should ideally be used with a protective shield ( as shown above ).
I had initially the all on 1 unit but wanted my main temperature away from this. Perfect solution.
