The WN32A (WH32) sensor is used as your primary source of outdoor temperature & humidity readings which will upload to online services including MetOffice WoW & WeatherUnderground along with the Ecowitt network.
If used with a multi-sensor array, this sensor will override the built in temperature & humidity readings of these (5-in-1, 7-in-1, WS80, WS90, WittBoy models etc). Ideal if you wish to separate your temperature and humidity readings from the main array, but not if you wish to have an additional set of readings; use the WN31 instead.
Before purchase, please be aware of the following:
- Only one WN32A (WH32) sensor or multi-sensor array can be used with the gateway or console as your primary device for reporting temperature & humidity to online services
- You cannot use this as an additional sensor, please use the WN31 multichannel sensor
- You may need to enable the T&H sensor option on your console / gateway before readings are recorded

Bought this unit recently as a backup to my existing one. This has been running for a year without issue. It should ideally be used with a protective shield ( as shown above ).
I had initially the all on 1 unit but wanted my main temperature away from this. Perfect solution.
