Product Details

The Ecowitt HP2553 weather station consists of the ultrasonic anemometer, temperature, humidity, solar radiation and UV sensors, the self emptying rain gauge and large 7" TFT full colour screen making it an advanced weather station with full internet access.

The sonic anemometer sensor pack measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, UV level and Solar intensity. 

The separate rain sensor measures rain fall and is self emptying for easy of use.

The 7" high resolution TFT colour screen has a friendly & well-designed interface with two selectable backgrounds (dark or light). The console displays wind speed and direction, dew point, rainfall, indoor outdoor temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, moon phase, solar radiation and UV. There is also a full colour weather forecast function and you can also purchase a microSD memory card to store historical data. A 1GB card will store on average 10 years of data.

This data, along with the outdoor sensor data is uploaded to the FREE Ecowitt service via WiFi and is used to calculate rainfall rate, wind chill, dew point and heat index. All of this can be viewed on an iOS, Google App, or Ecowitt weather website in a browser.

You are not just limited to weather data on the Ecowitt weather site or App, you can share your data further afield with free access to The UK MetOffice WoW service, Weather Underground, WeatherCloud and your own web server.

      Product Warranty

      2 year warranty from date of purchase from January 2025, 1 year on purchases before this date - return to supplier. Batteries are excluded from warranties as they are classed as a consumable item.

        Very good and easy to install!

        This weather station seems to be perfect for use at my cabin at 1150 m. It is very vindy, cold and icy condition in the winter time. I also bought the power adapter for heating du to the icy codition. So far I am very satisfied with the product.

        Fantastic Weather Station HP 2553

        A superb quality weather station for an unbelievably low price. You get everything for less than the price of a competitor's Ultrasonic Anemometer. There's no need to run a PC/PC software, or data logger to get your weather station's data on line, this does the lot. It even saves the data onto a memory card in excel format. The console is light years ahead of its main competitor.

        Incredible weather station which is addictive

        I bought this weather station at Christmas and really enjoy it. It is more like a small tablet in size and you can have so much information on the screen. I have added a water temperature sensor for the pond, soil moisture sensor for a hanging basket which always gets dry and have ideas for many more additions. The support from Weather Spares was excellent in helping make a decision and I am really pleased.

        Incredible screen and sensors

        It's when you get somethin this good you realise how many other premium brand need to improve. The screen is so clear it is like a tablet display and not fixed with digits and painted display. The whole screen can change to accommodate information - like a tablet computer.

        Sensors are accurate and I went for the power extension for the sonic as its cold here in winter.
