This 10M battery extension cord makes battery replacement easy. If you sensor suite is mounted at height the pack can be kept at an accessible level for battery changes.

This extension pack is suitable for use with any weather stations using the following Ecowitt sensor arrays:

  • WS67 / WN67 sensor array
  • WS69 / WN69 sensor array

Please ensure that the battery pack cable is secured the full length of the mounting pole to avoid rubbing and wear.

Note: This item could not be used for the Y shape sensor array from other manufacturers.

Please ensure that the dummy batteries are installed correctly to avoid damage to your sensor array. 

Both live terminals should be to the west of the array (as per the embossed top case label). The raised terminal is positive and flat negative.

Very Convenient

Installation very easy but there appears to be no indication as to which way round the dummy batteries go. The instuctions for the station say don't use rechargeable batteries because of voltage but Lithium ion batteries are 1.5v and rechargeable and run things properly. Did get the non-rechargeable lithiums as a precaution.

Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Ecowitt 10M Extension Battery Pack. Many of the rechargable Lithium batteries are only 1.2v so a pair of these at 2.4v do cause problems with the station operation. This is particularly noticable with the temperature/humidity sensor which requires a minimum 2.4v to operate. The dummy batteries should be inserted the same as a normal battery and we've provided an additional image in the product details to assist customers with this.
