Product Details

Rarely seen as a separate upgrade to the Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station. This upgrade to the standard integrated sensor suite radiation shield allows for quicker response to changes in temperature and humidity readings from your station.

Not requiring batteries and operating during daylight hours the daytime fan aspirated radiation shield is the must have upgrade for improved accuracy of readings.

Original part no 7747, requires some disassembly to the original radiation shield and reassembly, along with the replacement of the solar panel front cover with a dual solar panel cover - a simple and cost effective upgrade.

1 year warranty from date of purchase - return to supplier. Batteries are excluded from warranties as they are classed as a consumable item.

This was a full replacement for my old daytime fars which was failing. Fan was done and solar panel didn't show much voltage in daylight conditions when test with a fluke meter.

Solar panel material seems to have changed so hopefully this is a better panel than the last. Got it on offer so some money saved too. Weatherspares service is excellent and fast delivery too.
