Davis Instruments 6512 E-mail/Phone Alert software is an optional module that can be added on to a suitable WeatherLink installation. This module lets you set up specialised e-mail alerts, text messages, and phone alerts for any available weather variable. You can create an e-mail alert to receive detailed information on alarm conditions, plus regularly scheduled updates on current weather conditions via e-mail. Choose the phone alert feature to receive special alarm tones via your phone telling you to check your weather station console or WeatherLink for details.

Davis 6512 features and benefits include:

  • Current Conditions E-mail Alert: Sends an e-mail, either in a text summary or text message format, with your station's current conditions on a preset update interval schedule
  • Current Conditions Weather Variables: Outside Temperature, Inside Temperature, Heat Index, THW Index, Wind Chill, Outside Humidity, Inside Humidity, Dew Point, Current Wind Speed, 10-minute Average Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Barometer, Barometric Trend, Rain Rate, Solar Radiation, UV Index, Daily Rain Rate, Storm Rain Rate, Daily Evapotranspiration, Soil Moisture,
    Soil Temperature, Leaf Wetness, Leaf Temperature
  • Current Conditions Update Interval: Never (disables the Current Conditions e-mail alert), 1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes, or 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 hours
  • Single Sensor Alarm E-mail Alerts: Sends an e-mail anytime a selected variable exceeds or falls below a user-set threshold
  • Single Sensor Alert Interval: Sets the interval at which the module looks for variables that do not meet set thresholds; 1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes, or 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 hours
  • Combination Alarm E-mail Alerts: Sends an e-mail anytime a threshold for a combination of multiple variables is exceeded
  • Available Weather Variables: (As displayed in the Available Single Sensor Weather Alarm Variables and Alert Settings--Combination Alarm 1 dialog box) Outside Temperature, Outside Humidity, Dew Point, Wind Chill, Heat Index, Barometer, Current Wind Speed, 10-minute Average Wind Speed, Solar Radiation, UV Index, Inside Temperature, Inside Humidity, Daily Evapotranspiration, Leaf Wetness, Leaf Temperature Soil Moistures, Soil Temperatures, Barometric Trend, Rain Rate, Daily Rain Rate, Storm Rain Rate
