Improved Z style spikes with fixing kit to deter bird perching on a rain funnel/bucket or Ecowitt sonic anemometers. Easy to assemble kit.

Suitable use with any rain bucket that has a flat rim to allow attachment including Ventus, Ecowitt, GARNI, older Davis and TFA. Also suitable for use with the Ecowitt WS80, WS85 & WS90 sonic anemometers to deter perching and the WH40 with rain extension to assist holding the rain bucket extension in place.

(Rain funnel and other sensors show are not included)

  • 2 x 30cm stainless steel self locking zip ties 
  • 8 x silicon spike holders
  • 16 x metal Z-spikes
  • Paper instruction pamphlet

Assembly requires a pair of pliers to tighten the metal zip tie.

Bit fiddley to install but seem to be doing the job well

Poo away

This does exactly what it was intened for. Stops the birds from landing on your PWS. Which means less mess to clear out, and less false readings.

A must for any raim bucket easily fitted in mins would recomend to any PWS owner. Bit pricey for what it is but the amount of grief it saves you its worth it.
