The Ecowitt WittBoy Pro (HP2564) comprises two components the 7-in-1 sonic anemometer with haptic (Piezo) rain gauge and also the new design 7" display.

The large 7" TFT full colour display with inbuilt temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure sensors makes it an advanced weather console with full WiFi internet connectivity and local SD card storage.

Paired with the 7-in-1 outdoor sensor array (WS90) which no longer uses the traditional tipping bucket rain gauge, but a haptic sensor which measures rainfall. The revised rainfall sensor is slightly sloped to improve accuracy and prevent rain pooling and also includes rain start detection before any measurable rain has fallen.

The outdoor sensor also measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV level and light intensity. It requires mounting on the top of a 1 inch pole to ensure accurate readings. To keep the top of the rain, UV and light sensor clear of debris we also include anti bird spikes which can be installed should this become a tempting spot for birds to perch.

This indoor data, along with the outdoor sensor data is uploaded to the FREE Ecowitt service via WiFi and is used to calculate rainfall rate, wind chill, dew point and heat index. All of this can be viewed on an iOS, Google App, or the Ecowitt weather website in a browser.

You are not just limited to weather data on the Ecowitt weather site or App, you can optionally share your data further afield with access to:

  • HomeSeer smart home integration
  • Home Assistant smart home integration

    2 year warranty from date of purchase from January 2025, 1 year on purchases before this date - return to supplier.

      This was easy to set up, and is working really well. We had had an Oregan station before, which had started to fail due to old age, and this is an excellent replacement.
