This power pack and 10m cable provides power for the heater element in the Ecowitt Ultrasonic anemometer. Supplied with a UK plug and waterproof connectors for the anemometer and power block. 

This UK power extension pack is suitable for use with the following units:

  • WS80
  • HP2553
  • GW1003
This item will be supplied with a UK plug, not suitable for EU customers. The 220v power transformer should be housed indoors.

  • Is this used instead of batteries? And would it damage the heating unit plugged in 24/7

    This is a seperate item to both the batteries and primary power source of the solar panel and internal solar charged battery.

    The heater element is activated at low temperatures by a thermister to melt snow and ice on the unit. It would make sensor to only have this powered during the winter months as it would not be required at other times of the year.
