Adding the WN31 (WH31) 8 channel sensor to the Ecowitt WiFi or TFT gateway gives additional temperature and humidity readings at an alternative location. Upload data to the Ecowitt network to store a history of both temperature and humidity online.

        Simplicity itself

        Purchased this sensor as an add on to my HP2561. Ir's purpose being to remotely report the conditions in my south facing conservatory, using the Ecowitt App.
        Before purchase, I downloaded the User Guide, So I had already chosen a location on and put in the fixings (a screw) on a section of the dwarf wall that never receives direct sunshine, and about 15 inches from the floor to minimise heat (or cold) radiation. It arrived spot on time and taking it straight out of the box, the dip switches were already set for Ch.1 and Centigrade. Popped in two (Lithium) batteries, hung it on the screw, and by the time that I reached the WH2561, it had already been detected!
        An excellent, compact and efficient little add-on. (and it didn't break the bank either!)
        although it will stand on a flat surface.
